Events & Supporter Engagement

Past events have included the lively Spring Game Tailgate, where fans gathered to celebrate and connect before the big game. Another memorable event was the "Run for Cookies" fundraiser with Turbo's Treats, which not only raised funds but also brought together supporters for a fun and delicious cause.
Supporters also had the opportunity to participate in pregame meetups, where they could mingle and share their enthusiasm for UMass Women's Basketball. Postgame parties with player appearances are always an in season highlight, providing fans with the chance to celebrate victories and engage with their favorite athletes.

The Massachusetts Collective teamed up with program legend and all-time leading scorer
Sam Breen to create Turbo's Treats? 🐶🏀 This project was a game-changer, not only for our furry friends but also for our community!
With the help of Sam and her internet-famous dog Turbo, we produced a line of delicious dog treats that flew off the shelves. Thanks to your support, we were able to raise over $4,000, all of which was donated to the Dakin Animal Shelter. Woof woof, indeed!

This project truly captured the spirit of our 2022-2023 women's basketball team: the WBB Caricature Collection! 🏀🎨
In collaboration with a talented local artist, we created a custom caricature shirt featuring each unique player. The response was amazing, with shirts, hoodies, and posters flying off the shelves. Thanks to your support, we were able to raise funds all directly benefiting our players.
